Our Story
We are a family-owned business established in 2013. Our Risk Management services were originally part of our company Kroft Pty Ltd, however, as the demand for the risk services side of the business grew, Run the Risk was born.
We work with clients across urban and regional Victoria, regularly serving areas such as Castlemaine, Bendigo, Maryborough, Ballarat, Shepparton, Numurkah, Geelong, and Melbourne. Our focus is on supporting small to medium-sized organisations in the public, private, and not-for-profit sectors, helping them navigate risk with tailored, practical solutions.
Director: Linda Scott, GAICD
Linda's background as a risk and quality adviser spans both large organisations and a wide range of small business enterprises, specialising in industries that operate in complex compliance environments.
She is a Certified Practicing Risk Manager, Certified Lead ISO and NDIS Auditor, has a Bachelor of Business degree in Entrepreneurship and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Working in collaboration with clients, she enjoys identifying opportunities for improvement and applies strong strategic and analytical skills to deliver efficient and innovative outcomes.

Linda is supported by a team of business advisers selected for their technical expertise and deep business acumen. We take great pride in our team's vast experience and their professional, problem-solving approach, along with a dedication to delivering exceptional customer service.
Our team members have diverse backgrounds, having worked across a wide range of sectors.
Trish Roche
Trish has worked in a range of manufacturing and construction industries as well as security and a community centre. She has supported companies carrying out full system installations, developing business plans and documents for tenders, and preparing for ISO certification.
Marion Miller
Marion has a background in business and governance support for education, government agencies, small business and not for profits. She supports the Run the Risk team with administration and development of consulting tools.
Jessica Delle-vergini
Jessica works across auditing and administration at Run the Risk and is currently training as a Lead Auditor. She is passionate about quality systems and supporting organisations to do meaningful, people-focused work. With a background in community services and business support, Jessica brings energy, focus and a determined presence to both clients and the team.
